I was fairly sure Cougar Town would be a good show, but I did have my doubts. I mean, the fact that the show was about ‘cougars’ sort of put me off a bit, because I think that the whole cougar thing is weird, but after watching d!rt (another show by and starring Courntey Cox), I had faith that she could pull it off. I was expecting a good-ish show, but not something I’m going to love enough that I’ll feel like I have to continue.
I ended up loving it to bits, it was hilarious the whole way through. It was really good, heaps of good quotes and yeah. It turned out a whole lot better than I was expecting.
If I had to find one thing I didn’t enjoy about the show it would have to be the opening titles, I’m always excited to the the opening titles of shows, but when I did, I was kind of disappointed, it was one of those titles that is over before it begins – It was like “Oh! Opening Titles!.. Oh… that’s it?”.
Still, that’s something I can look past, considering the whole rest of the show is so good. Definetely one I’m going to keep watching.
